Support for maintaining functional capacity through various methods

To support performance, we use precise analytics and personalised forms of support aimed at optimal body function and recovery.

Methods offered by Comeback Physio

At Comeback Physio, we use versatile and modern methods to support our clients’ rehabilitation, recovery and overall well-being. Treatment methods are always individually selected according to the client’s situation and goals. Our aim is to provide effective and safe treatment that promotes body function, relieves symptoms and supports lasting results in everyday life, work and exercise.
  • Diagnostic ultrasound

We have the possibility to use a diagnostic ultrasound machine for symptom analysis and exercise guidance. It allows us to examine muscle, tendon and muscle membrane function and muscle activation in more detail.

  • Step-AID support pads

With us, you get custom-made Askel-AIDs, which are always designed based on a lower limb analysis. An expert analysis identifies the structure of the foot, the gait and the load on the lower limbs, on the basis of which the need for support insoles is assessed. This ensures that each insole supports the user’s foot position and function in exactly the right way.

An insole assessment is particularly recommended for lower limb pain conditions such as inflammation of the heel bone, penile disease or problems with the Achilles tendon. Similarly, incorrect postures – such as flat feet or awkward bones – can cause imbalances in the alignment of the whole body and lead to problems such as knee, hip or back pain. Custom-made braces can help alleviate these problems and prevent further symptoms from developing.

Askel-AIDs are manufactured in a two-piece construction, with a mouldable surface and a separate wedge cassette for a precise fit and optimal support. Surface materials can be chosen from breathable and lightweight Sport, durable Pito or soft and comfortable Lux leather, depending on the customer’s needs. The result is a comfortable, durable insole that is suitable for everyday use and promotes well-being with every step.

  • PODOSmart analysis

The lower leg analysis can be supported by a PODOSmart foot motion analysis, which can be used to further investigate the movements of the foot during walking and running. This analysis can provide information such as weight transfer and gait rhythm.

  • Kinesio and dynamic taping

We perform kinesio taping to help relieve pain, increase mobility and muscle strength and support the body’s own healing process. Dynamic taping supports weakened muscles and facilitates movement and exercise.

  • Orthotics or joint supports

We can provide you with orthoses, or joint supports, to support your rehabilitation when you return to everyday activities or sports. A joint support helps to support the joint under stress that it would not otherwise be able to withstand due to its current condition.

  • Skills coaching

Skills training develops body control, balance and coordination – areas that are particularly important in the rehabilitation of lower limb injuries. We use the principles of the Taitoc method, among others, as part of physiotherapy, so that the training is progressive, varied and tailored to the needs of the individual. Taitoc training increases confidence in movement and supports a safe return to everyday life, work or sport.

This is how physiotherapy progresses during your appointment

1

Initial mapping and discussion

The intake starts with a comprehensive initial assessment, where we go through the client’s symptoms, health history and possible functional capacity challenges. We will also discuss work, leisure and everyday stress factors to get a full picture of your situation. The aim is to understand the background to your symptoms and find the right approach to treatment for you.

2

Examining the symptoms

After the discussion, we will examine the symptoms in more detail using physiotherapeutic methods. For example, we assess muscle strength, mobility, body control and possible areas of pain. If necessary, we will carry out more detailed functional tests. The examination provides the basis for building an individual treatment and exercise programme.

3

Treatment and rehabilitation plan

Based on the tests, we will draw up a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan for you. The plan may include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, ergonomic guidance and concrete ways to alleviate symptoms and improve your ability to function. All interventions are based on your goals and your life situation.

4

Follow-up and further guidance

Physiotherapy does not end at the first visit. We will monitor your progress and adapt your treatment as necessary. You will also receive clear follow-up instructions for self-training and support for everyday activities. The aim is to achieve lasting results and strengthen your independent well-being.
