Juha-Matti Rytilahti
Physiotherapist OMT
I am a physiotherapist, specialized in OMT (Orthopaedic Manual Therapy), strength coaching, and NLP-oriented therapeutic interaction. As a physiotherapist, I see myself first and foremost as a human working with another human, and I truly enjoy my social work with clients as part of our energetic team.
My education and experience provide me with strong expertise in, among other things, pain management, treatment of spinal conditions, and various musculoskeletal and nerve-related disorders. I have nearly 20 years of experience in post-operative rehabilitation and have specialized, through MDT (the McKenzie Method), in the assessment and treatment of disc-related issues.
At the same time, I have worked within occupational health care, which has given me a solid understanding of the challenges of modern working life. I also have a background in competitive sports: I have been involved in freestyle skiing (moguls) both as an athlete and as a physiotherapist with the national team. Rehabilitation of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries—both surgical and non-surgical—is therefore very familiar to me.
I strive to live in alignment with the values I promote in my work. Nowadays, I stay active through a variety of activities, including outdoor exercise, gym training, mountain biking, alpine skiing, and recreational ice hockey.
Welcome to my practice when you feel you need help in relieving pain and related concerns, restoring your functional capacity, and making a “comeback” to the things that matter most to you.
